The NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope has confirmed the presence of an exoplanet for the first time. Formally classified as LHS 475 b, the planet is almost exactly the same size as our own planet Earth

Although scientists are still unsure about its atmosphere and composition, checks have confirmed it is 99%

41 light-years away is the small, rocky planet LHS 475 b. This marks the first time researchers have used Webb to confirm an exoplanet.
